Tonight the members went to the dry hydrant in Redden for drafting operations. Before we left we checked the primer oil in the engines and then headed out. Once at the dry hydrant Engineer Jean Stevenson went over apparatus placement and pumping operations. Each member on hand got a chance to prime the pump and pump from the dry hydrant. We finished the night by connecting the hard sleeves together and tying off the strainer after it was lowered into the pond. Members then pumped some more before wraping up the training for the evening. Thanks to all who attended.
