Early this morning four members, along with our Seagrave sales rep. Rich Bunting, head out to the Seagrave factory. Our flight was out of Philadelphia to Detroit, and then a connection flight to Green Bay. Once on the ground we had approx. a 30 min ride to the Seagrave factory, but before that we were treated to a delicious lunch at Cindy's and a game of Shake'em. After lunch we went to the factory met up with gentleman who will be responsible for the construction of the ladder truck. We were then taken on a walk through of the manufacturing part of Seagrave. That night were were treated to a delicious dinner and then off to the hotel for a goodnights rest. The next day we arrived back to the factory at 8 am on the dot, started finalization of the specs and drawing. This took about 4 1/2 hrs and then to lunch. Once back from lunch we reviewed everything again and then a last walk through to see other apparatus that were already under construction. We left Seagrave around 4 pm, for the flight back and arrived back at Station 77 at 1:30 am. A special thanks to Rich Bunting and everyone at Seagrave for their hospitality. We have 2 more trips planned between now and the middle part of January.
