Oyster Eat 2006: Preparations - Georgetown Fire Company

The 69th Annual gathering of the nationally recognized Georgetown Fire Company Oyster Eat has finally arrived! Members of station 77 gathered early in the morning to begin the day-long preparations for this much anticipated event. The trucks are moved out of their warm homes for an evening of fun and comraderie. The sawdust is spread out, tables erected, stage built, and steamers are assembled. The Ladies Auxillary assist making the egg salad and preparing for their own fund raiser, a luncheon the day of the oyster eat.
