House Fire - 24558 Dupont Blvd.

At 0109 hrs. the Georgetown Fire Co. along with Stations 83, 93, and Medic 103 were alerted for a house fire. 77 Command responding with Chief Swain was advised by Sussex EOC of a working alarm with all occupants out. 77 Command arrived on location with smoke showing from side D, with smoke pushing out the attic window. Eng. 77-4's crew was assigned to pull the rear 1 3/4" line into the garage area to the attic access and the 2nd crew checked the living area for extension. Tanker 77 picked up Eng. 77-4 supply line and they were assigned to roof operations. Eng. 77-1's crew was assigned to the attic area to assist Eng. 77-4's crew. Rescue 77 conducted P.P.V., established rehab area in the front yard along with B-93 and Medic 103. Station 83 members assisted with salvage and overhaul. Station 85 was alerted for a cover up at Station 77. The fire was contained to the attic area around the chimney, smoke damage throughout the attic area, and minor water damage to the living room. All smoke detectors were working and alerted the occupants of the fire. O.I.C Chief Swain, Operations 2nd Asst. Chief Rogers, Division 1 1st Asst.
