Georgetown Fire Co. was dispatched at 1233 hrs. for a field fire at the above intersection. Units responding were advised by the E.O.C. they were recieving numerous calls for a fast moving field fire. 77-0 & 77 Command arrived on scene with a fast moving corn field on fire. 77-0 deployed its front sweeps and the crew utilized hand tools to start containment on the south side of the fire area. 77-00 was assigned to the north side of the fire, along with Eng. 77-2. Tanker 77 was assigned as the supply piece & Eng. 77-3 was assigned to the south side along with 77-0. 2nd Asst. Chief Rogers had Command, 1st Asst. Chief Rogers had Operations & Station 85 stood by at Station 77.
