Open House - Station 77

Sunday, May 17, 2015

From 1000 hrs to 1300 hrs today we had our open house to the public for fun, education, and for the public to get a chance to meet their local fire company. A puppet show, fire truck rides, and the fire safety house were open to entertain, but also educate the kids about fire safety. Also we handed out free smoke detectors to the public to help promote Wake Up Delaware. Also different organizations such has Georgetown Police Dept., D.S.P, Delaware State Fire School, Delaware State Fire Marshal, and Delaware State Forrestry were on hand with their displays and to give hand outs to the community. Also the Georgetown Fire Company Ladies Aux. provided food and beverages to everyone. A special thanks goes out to the Fire Prevention Comm. & Ladies Aux. for there help, also great work.
