Woods Fire - Rum Ridge Rd

At 1245 hrs. we were dispatched for a woods fire on Rum Ridge Rd S/O Seashore Hwy. 77 Command arrived on scene 1 acres of wooded area on fire. 77-00 was the first to arrived and made a quick stop of the fire on the south side of the incident. 77-2 was assigned to pull 2 more additional lines and to supply 77-00. Tanker 77 was assigned to supply 77-2 and assist with supression. 77 Command placed the situation under control in approx. 30 mins.. Units responding 77 Command (Chief Swain), 77-00 (Deputy Chief Barrett), 77-2 (1st Asst. Chief Rogers), Tanker 77 (F/F Lawson), FR-12, FR-13, & DNREC.
