Working House Fire - Dupont Hwy

At 0150 hrs, Station 77, along with mutual aide were dispatched for a working house fire in the area of Redden Package. 77 Command with Deputy Chief Penuel Barrett responded and was advised of a working alarm and all occupants were out. Command went on scene with a 1 story single family dwelling 100% involved with exposures on the B side to another residence. Engine 77-4 responded with 1st Asst. Chief Mark Rogers and was advised to pull 2 1/2" & 1 3/4" handlines for supression and exposure protection. Tanker 77 responded with 2nd Asst. Chief Robert Rogers III and was assigned to pick up the supply line on Dupont Hwy and assist Engine 77-4's crew. Remaining 77 units assisted in water shuttle, lighting, overhaul, and rehab. Station 75's first due engine laid a supply line up the lane, supplied Engine 77-4, and assist with suppression. The rest of Station 75 equipment and personnel assisted with overhaul and water supply. A-93 and Medic 103 had established rehab. Station 85 covered up with 2 pieces at Station 77. Fire is under investigation by the D.S.F.M. Extensive damage occured to the siding of the exposure residence. Deputy Chief Barrett had Command, 1st Asst. Chief Mark Rogers had Operations, and 2nd Asst. Chief Robert Rogers III had Staging and Manpower Pool.
