During routine patrol, the Georgetown Police Department came up on a pickup vs. tractor trailer. The officer requested the Georgetown Fire Company be dispatched along with one ambulance. Command-77 with Deputy Chief Dennis Swain arrived at the scene and was advised that there was one patient with a broken arm. 77-0 arrived and assisted the ambulance with patient care. Rescue-77 and Engine 77-2 arrived and pulled 2 booster lines to wash the large amount of mud and grass from the roadway. The situation was brought under control with Command-77 and fire police remaining on scene for Del-Dot to bring a load of sand due to the intersection being extremely slick.
