On September 18th, 2004 at 1630 hours, the Georgetown Fire Company was dispatched to a reported vehicle accident with entrapment. Upon arrival of Assistant Chief, Mark Rogers, he upgraded the incident to a Level One Mass Casualty Incident that involved two vehicles. 77-0 arrived with Assistant Chief, Penuel Barrett, and began to prepare the vehicle for extrication. Upon arrival of Rescue 77, with Jeff Ward as the OIC, the crew began to extricate the patient. The passenger side door was removed and a dash displacement was performed. A total of 6 patients were transported to various hospitals by ambulance from Georgetown, Laurel, and Millsboro.
