On August 29th, 2004, at 2000 hours, the Georgetown Fire Company was dispatched to a vehicle accident. Command 77 responded with Assistant Chief Dennis Swain and was advised of a ?head on? collision that was located east of the intersection of Routes 9 & 30. Upon the arrival of command 77, numerous vehicles were in the area making the scene size up difficult. 77-0 Arrived with Past Chief Bob Ricker as the OIC and assisted Command 77 with size up. Shortly after Rescue 77 responded, command assigned Bob Ricker as EMS control. A total of three patents were transported from three separate vehicles by Georgetown Ambulance 93, Ambulance 82(Lewes), and Ambulance 85 (Milton). Command began releasing unit after cleanup of the scene which spanned approximately 100 yards.
