Motor Vehicle Accident - Old Furnace Road

On May 7th, Station 77 was alerted for a motor vehicle accident with the vehicle reported on fire. Command 77 with 2nd Assistant Chief Mark Rogers responded to the scene. Engine 77-4 responded first due, with Rescue-77 following behind. Upon arrival command found that the vehicle was smoking due to the airbag deployment. One patient was transported to Nanticoke Hospital with minor injuries. Units remained on the scene till the area was secured.
