Structure Fire, Seashore Hwy

Today we were alerted for a garage fire on Seashore Hwy west of Marsh Rd. Units arrived on scene with (2) 20'x20' storage building involved. Fire was started by a control burning that got away from the property owner. Please use caution when doing control burning and follow at all times DNREC burning guidelines. Also take in the weather conditions and how dry natural cover areas are around where you are burning. We were assisted by Sta 72 Bridgeville, Sta 75 Ellendale, Sta 93 Georgetown EMS, SCEMS and the DSFM. Great job by all on the scene and to Sta 83 Millsboro who stood by while we were operating at this incident.
