After Station 77 was alerted for Truck Company standby at 700 Station 3, Sussex alerted us again for a Rescue standby at 70 (Bethany Beach) Station 2. While enroute to the cover up assignment, Rescue77 was upgraded to the scene, staging at the inlet. Thanks to Laurel(Tower-81) and Houston(Rescue-52) Fire companies for providing coverage for our district while we were in Ocean City. Story From OCVFC.COM: Ocean City units were alerted at 1203 PM for a report of a fire at the Dough Roller on the Boardwalk at South Division Street. First arriving units went on scene with fire showing from side D. An intense fire attack with numerous master streams took place. The fire was held to the building involved with minor extension into the arcade next door. One firefighter was transported to Atlantic General Hospital for an eye injury.
