On Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at approximately 2:15 PM, the Georgetown Fire Company and Georgetown EMS/Station 93 responded to an aircraft emergency at the Delaware Coastal Airport. Upon arrival, responders found that an aircraft had skidded off the runway and into a ditch. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident.
