On December 2nd, 2025 at approximately 7:00 PM, the Georgetown Fire Company and Georgetown EMS/Station 93 were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on Old Furnace Road near Foxcroft Lane. While en route, it was reported that one subject was trapped, and that a vehicle is on fire. In response to this information, Rescue 87 from Seaford Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. was requested to assist with extrication efforts. The patient was successfully extricated from the vehicle and subsequently transported to a hospital for further medical treatment.
