On Saturday, December 27, 2025, at approximately 10:30 AM, the Georgetown Fire Company and Georgetown EMS/Station 93 responded to a motor vehicle accident involving a DART bus at the intersection of DuPont Boulevard and Seashore Highway. Upon arrival, it was reported that one individual was trapped. Emergency crews successfully extricated the individual, who was then transported to a local hospital for further medical evaluation.
