On Thursday, November 5, 2026 at approximately 3:25 PM the Georgetown Fire company and Georgetown EMS/Station 93 responded to the intersection of Shortly Road and Alms House Road for a motor vehicle vehicle accident with double rollover. 77 command (Deputy Chief Rogers) arrived, and advised that one patient was trapped and needed to be extricated. Crews from Rescue 77 and Engine 77-2 worked together to free the trapped patient. Millsboro Fire Company assisted with cleanup. Patients were transported to nearby hospitals for further evaluation.
