Motor Vehicle Accident upgraded to a MCI Level One - Dupont Blvd. and Wilson Road

On October 10th, 2004 around 2200 hrs, the Georgetown Fire Company was dispatched to a Motor Vehicle Accident near the intersection of Dupont Blvd. (U.S. 113) and Wilson Road (Sussex 244). Command 77 responded with Chief Joey Pepper and established command upon arrival. Shortly after assuming command Chief Pepper upgraded the incident to an MCI level One. In addition, EMS 200 was on the scene and was assigned EMS Control. 77-0 arrived with Assistant Chief Penuel Barret assisted EMS with triage. Rescue 77 arrived with Assistant Chief Mark Rogers and his crews also assisted EMS. The light tower and various equipment were used off of the Rescue. Six patients were transported to various hospitals by ambulances from Millsboro, Ellendale, and Milton. Command brought the situation under control and released units after the scene was cleaned.
