Motor Vehicle Accident w/ Entrapment - DuPont Blvd. & Speedway Rd.

On July 16th, 2004 at 0600 hrs the Georgetown Fire Company was dispatched to a vehicle accident reported overturned with entrapment in the area of the speedway and 113. Upon arrival of Command 77 with Chief Joey Pepper as the OIC, he reported that there was entrapment in one vehicle and the fluids would need to be controlled on the other. 77-0 with OIC Mark Rodgers secured the vehicle not in need of extracation and Rescue77 with OIC Dennis Swain, lead the extracation. One door was removed using the "Jaws of Life" after the vehicle was stablized. Two pt's refused treatment. Units were released after cleanup of the scene.
