Dumpster Fire - Waste Managment

On July 7th, 2004, at 1359 hours, the Georgetown Fire Company was dispatched to a reported Dumpster Fire at waste management on Railroad Ave. Command 77 arrived under the command of 77-18 (Mark Rodgers) and reported that the dumpster was well involved. Engine 77-4 with OIC Dennis Swain and attacked the fire. It was decided to dump the dumpster out since the dumpster was packed with cardboard boxes. The scene was brought under control after brief overhaul of the cardboard and units were returned.
